Bio

My name is Mrs. Amanda Coe. I am originally from Auburndale, Florida, located in Central Florida. I moved to Madison about 12 years ago. I can honestly say this is home. When I graduated from Auburndale High School, I attended North Florida Community College for two years and then transferred with my AA to the University of West Florida. I have two majors: one in Elementary Education K-6 and Special Education K-12. I also have an ESOL endorsement as well as a Reading endorsement. I knew I wanted to become a teacher from the very beginning. My third grade teacher had such an impact on my life. I could not wait until I grew up so I could impact young minds like my teacher did.

This is my 5th year as a teacher. I taught 4th grade in Live Oak for 2 1/2 years at Suwannee Intermediate School. I had an opportunity to be close to my family so I accepted a position at Madison County High School for 1/2 a year. This is my 2nd year with the Madison County Central School family and I have to say it is AMAZING!!

I am married to a wonderful man, Mike who is the head football coach for the Madison County Cowboys. We have three kids, Zac who is 13, Brayden who is 8, and Alexa who is 2 1/2. Well ok...you could say that I actually have 80 kids... the football players. So, needless to say I am very busy with my personal children, football payers, and now your child.
